 Description 
(1) Early style (swallowtail) rubber shift boot.

This is the earliest version made and was used in base
model Rabbit/Scirocco/Mk1 Golf from 1974-1976 which came
with rubber floor covering or “Postal Mats ".  Fits directly over the base of the shift rod
bearing.

 

 

Will not fit any of the later consoles with or without gauges.  Fits directly over the shift rod base/bearing.

 

Fits: all Mk1 Manual 4 and 5 Speed Transmission (read fitment details above)
