Proper maintenance is essential to keeping your VW/AUDI CIS fuel system working properly, our kits allows you to replace all the external gaskets for servicing the fuel distributor when separated from the mass air sensor as well as air leaks from a worn old cork mass air gasket. The air flow plates arm of your mass air sensor (seen when rubber boot is removed from distributor) is in constant contact with the fuel distributors control plunger, this controls the measure of fuel sent to your injectors and is one of the most critical part of the CIS fuel system. Stuck or dirty plunger can cause a myriad of poor running conditions.There are simple test you can perform to see if your control plunger is not moving smoothly all the way through its range which can be found online or in your Bentley manual that don't require any technical tools. So before you spend a ton of money on a new distributor and unnecessarily replace it (if you can find one anymore) give our kit a try.
